We’re looking for patterns that capture the essence of hydrangeas in full bloom, whether through realistic botanical illustrations, painterly florals, vintage garden motifs, or modern interpretations of these beloved blossoms. Think sweeping clusters of flowers, graceful stems and leaves, cottage garden scenes, and compositions that highlight the hydrangea’s distinctive texture and volume.
Color palettes can draw from the flower’s natural spectrum of soft blues, lavenders, blush pinks, creamy whites, and fresh greens, or explore more imaginative and contemporary hues. Designs may feel airy and delicate, richly layered and dramatic, or timeless and elegant, but should evoke the beauty, abundance, and enduring appeal of hydrangeas in bloom.

- The popular vote determines the top 100 winning designs. Voters include Spoonflower artists and customers as well as the public.
