A designer-client friendship creates a summer-ready home.

After purchasing their home last year, the Salehs wanted each space to reflect their family. They partnered with Raleigh-based interior designer Courtney Mellott, a longtime friend of Meredith, to create personalized, functional rooms that celebrate their family, lifestyle, and heirlooms. "I know going into a project with Meredith, she has a trained eye. Her family is the anchor, and we sought out prints representing their season of life and functionality of the spaces. Some of the spaces are multi-purpose, so making them fun and whimsical was important. Spoonflower executes custom, nuanced design requirements unlike any other brand," said Courtney Mellott. Customization played a key role throughout the home—from their daughter’s pink, green, and white palette to their son’s masculine grasscloth-inspired room. Quick color customization and turnaround times helped bring the family’s vision to life in time for a summer at home.
